At 10 pm Sunday, March 27 at the invitation of the Association of families of martyrs, the Holy Father will visit the Memorial of private Ardeatine Caves (67 anniversary of the massacre). On March 24, 1944, following an attack of a military resistance against German Nazi occupation forces executed 335 Italian citizens in retaliation in quarries south of Rome.
