-Accept age limit waiver Georg Maximilian Cardinal Sterzinsky from the pastoral care of the Diocese of Berlin (Germany).
-Appointed Mgr.Franz-Josef Overbeck, Military Ordinary for Germany. He was previously Bishop of Essen (Germany).
-Appointed Abbot Helmut Dieser Auxiliary Bishop of Trier (Germany). The bishop-elect was born in 1962 in Neuwied (Germany) and ordained in 1989, was previously pastor of parishes Adenau Dümpelfeld, and Kaltenborn Kaltenborn-Herschbach (Germany).
-Appointed Fr Eugenio Andrés Lira Rugarcía, Auxiliary Archbishop of Puebla (Mexico). The bishop-elect was born in 1965 in Puebla (Mexico) and ordained in 1991, was far President of the Diocesan Pastoral Commission of the communication.
-Appointed Abbot Dagoberto Sosa Arriaga, Auxiliary Archbishop of Puebla (Mexico). The bishop-elect was born in 1955 in La Loma (Mexico) and ordained in 1983, was previously vicar bishop of that diocese.
