What More Can I Give

We
September 11, 2001, the United States are affected by attacks not seen before, Like many of us Michael Jackson was very sensitive to events and then decided to write a charity song for the victims of September 11. The song will report collaboration with artists of the moment is 35 artists including Celine Dion , Usher or Mariah Carey . The objective is obviously to raise funds for victims.

But the end of 2001 is also a dark period in the career of Michael Jackson's album Invincible did not receive sufficient promotion because of various conflicts between Michael Jackson and the CEO of his house Disc Tommy Motola and album sales in half shade for an artist of his stature.
Stitches in the single does not come out and finally the coup de grace will come from an American magazine article that revealed that one of the producer happens to be also a producer of porn movies, this mingling with the conflict between MJ and his house disc, Sony Music decided to stop the flow of the song.
Two years later, the song What More Can I Give out anyway, in late 2003 as a single on the internet without a hit.

The song comes in 3 versions known so far: the single version of 3mn30 about a version sung in English and finally the best version that approximately 5 minutes which is actually the demo of the song. This demo is in all respects the same as the single but it has many more parts sung by Michael Jackson and the other two, so here is the whole point.

Without having been a fiasco song has not met with success in spite of it. The song was inspired by Michael Jackson in 1990 during his meeting with Nelson Mandela, the title has several years and Michael was only waiting for "good opportunity" to finally come out. After the huge success of We are the world Michael Jackson has been pushing the wings of charity but it must be confessed, he has never managed to regain the momentum that accompanied We are the world .

We saw the flop We are the world 25th, what matters most to a charity song is sold is spontaneity.
